Life is busy. This is the unavoidable truth for most of us. Luckily we have these incredible bodies to carry us through the day and for the most part they do a damn good job of getting us from point A to B. The sad part is many of us don’t fully appreciate them. In fact, millions of us speak negatively about them, starve them, overfeed them, forget to move them as we type away at our computers, deprive them of joy/sleep/pleasure and forget that they are our greatest tool and our most faithful companions.
Our body is sending us thousands of messages every moment and yet we rarely tune in to hear what it is asking for.

What if we started tuning into our body’s requests and innate wisdom more often? I truly believe that this is the first step in truly becoming our happiest, healthiest, most confident self. This one simple thing can help overcome anxiety, overeating, unhappiness, many illnesses and low self esteem amongst a host of other things. In order to find our power we have to learn how to tap into our greatest energy source – our body.
This Mind-Body-Heart scan is an easy 5-minute meditation that will help you start to notice what is going on in your own body. We recommend doing it once a day (try right before you go to bed or as soon as you walk in the door after work) to start and then you can do mini-versions as often as you want.
The key is to notice what your body is asking for and then whenever possible, to listen to what it needs.
