A 5-minute meditation to help you connect with your body’s innate wisdom and tap into it’s power.

Life is busy.  This is the unavoidable truth for most of us.  Luckily we have these incredible bodies to carry us through the day and for the most part they do a damn good job of getting us from point A to B.  The sad part is many of us don’t fully appreciate them.  In fact, millions of us speak negatively about them, starve them, overfeed them, forget to move them as we type away at our computers, deprive them of joy/sleep/pleasure and forget that they are our greatest tool and our most faithful companions.

Our body is sending us thousands of messages every moment and yet we rarely tune in to hear what it is asking for.

Sleep | Water | Movement | A Hug | A Good Cry | Stillness | Nature | Work | Sex | A Quiet Night At Home | A Dance Floor | A Green Smoothie | Deep Conversation….

What if we started tuning into our body’s requests and innate wisdom more often?  I truly believe that this is the first step in truly becoming our happiest, healthiest, most confident self.  This one simple thing can help overcome anxiety, overeating, unhappiness, many illnesses and low self esteem amongst a host of other things.  In order to find our power we have to learn how to tap into our greatest energy source – our body.

This Mind-Body-Heart scan is an easy 5-minute meditation that will help you start to notice what is going on in your own body.  We recommend doing it once a day (try right before you go to bed or as soon as you walk in the door after work) to start and then you can do mini-versions as often as you want.

The key is to notice what your body is asking for and then whenever possible, to listen to what it needs.

Try the Mind-Body-Soul Scan and let us know what you think in the comment section below!  We read every one.

I like to listen to hypnosis recordings, so I had a pretty open mind listening to this. I just woke up but listened to it anyway… didn’t realize how hungry I was!! I don’t typically eat until later, but as soon as you said to open our eyes and listen to what our body was telling us, my stomach started aching like it’s never done before! Freaky!! Even now as I’m typing this it’s not as achy, just a little hunger pain that I usually ignore but in that moment, it was majorly achy, so crazy! I’m excited to do it again tonight to see what my body it telling me

My body told me I am thirsty, tired, and anxious. This was awesome, I need to take more time to realize what my body needs so I can nourish it and ultimately feel better because of it.

I need to be grateful that I have two healthy vibrant children instead of being frustrated by how much they need me.

Wow. I work a high paced corporate job that fortunately allows me to work remotely, and I had an extremely anxiety and stressful
Filled day today- it’s not over!
I left my desk, sprawled on the floor in sivansana and listened to this. This first thing I said out loud when I opened my eyes was “Thank You”. 🙂

Simple things to focus on our being does absolute wonders. And your voice is ridiculously soothing! Thank you!

This was actually pretty cool for me. I have big time trouble relaxing and meditating. This actually seemed to help me concentrate a bit better and get into a more meditative state which I desperately need right now as I’m fighting lung disease. Allot has come at me since May and I’ve been so over whelmed.. So thanks for this. I’m going to listen to it often and start learning how to actually meditate and relax my brain & all these thoughts in my head!

I listened to Kaitlyn Bristows off the vine podcast yesterday and really appreciated all the areas yall covered. I was extremely excited to do the body scan because I am a full believer in intuitiveness and body awareness. I am a health coach myself so thank you for spreading awareness around preventative health and wellness!
